To strengthen and empower vulnerable families through the provision of comprehensive & holistic services to children, youth and caregivers that enable them to address their own emotional and physical needs, foster self-sufficiency, protect their rights and reach their full potential.

No vulnerable child abandoned due to poverty and all children/youth growing up in safe and supportive homes, where they are encouraged to reach their full potential.

All at-risk families empowered and able to care and provide for their children without outside assistance.

We work in Moshi, Tanzania - located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro

Simama Family Support is co-founded and directed by Elizabeth Weale (Canadian living in Moshi full-time) and Emanueli Msuya (Moshi native).

Our field-work around Kilimanjaro has given us a joint determination to see children remain in families whenever possible. We are building Simama Family Support (alongside an incredible Tanzanian board and staff) from the ground up to ensure that this is the case.
